Luciana Paluzzi

Luciana Paluzzi is one of the brunettes prepared to become world-class stars as a result of the Gina Lollobrigida scandal. The 1950s saw Ms. Paluzzi worked on both sides of the Atlantic for films like Three Coins in the Fountain and Sea Fury. She was granted the opportunity to become an American TV star in the leading role of Simone Genet in the 1959 spy-weekly Five Fingers. In 1965, she was contacted by Bond producers about a role as Domino Derval, the main character in Thunderball. While that role eventually went to the former Miss France, Claudine Auger, director Terence Young offered her the part of the villain in Fiona Volpe - one of the few women on this planet who is able to withstand the attraction of Mr. Fiona, as a punishment she is killed by the floor of the bar by Bond's comrades. James, who then lay her dead body at a nearby dining table then asks "Does it bother you that I sit this one out?" She's just dead." Luciana's career as an European actress was boosted by this box office blockbuster. Her roles included films that included Captain Nemo and the Underwater City, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Klansman and The Greek Tycoon. Luciana Luciana Luciana
