Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry is an American model, actress, and beauty pageant winner who received the title of Miss America In 1996, she was named Miss USA. Her mother named her in honor of actress Ali MacGraw after she watched her movie 'Love Story' in 1970'. She was born in Cecilia and attended Cecilia High School. As a high school student she was the leader of the cheerleading team and took home the title of 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She was just 17 years old. Then, in 1996 she was declared Miss Louisiana USA. She gained fame following her win as Miss USA. In 1997 she debuted as an actor in the show "Clueless". She became known as "the Doritos Girl", due to her appearance in a 'Doritos commercial' at the Super Bowl of 1998. She first made an appearance as a film actress in the movie Beautiful. Through the following years she was a part of many TV and film productions. Additionally, she has been on a number of lists of 'the most sought-after women.
